My Wife Has No Emotion: Exciting News!
Guess what, everyone? The staff for the anime of Jirō Sugiura’s manga “My Wife Has No Emotion” just revealed some awesome stuff! Let me tell you all about it:
Firstly, they announced some new cast members:
- Yoshino Aoyama will play Akari Kosugi, Takuma’s younger sister.
- Yū Serizawa will voice Super Mina, the best version of the Mina home appliance robot series.
Then, they introduced some new staff members:
- Megumi Furuya will take care of the Color Design.
- Jirō Kōno will be the Art Director.
- Yoshie Itō will handle the Compositing Director of Photography.
- Yuri Tamura will be in charge of Editing.
- Bibury Animation CG and Beijing Xie Le Art Co., Ltd. will be the 3D Directors.
- Takumi Itō will be the Sound Director, and sound production will be done by HALF H·P STUDIO.
- The Music will be composed by Kanade Sakuma, Hanae Nakamura, Natsumi Tabuchi, and Miki Sakurai, under the Music Production of Nichion.
The anime stars Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Takuma and Konomi Inagaki as Mina.
And here’s the big news: The anime will premiere on July 2 on Tokyo MX at 11:00 p.m. JST, and then on the MBS and BS Asahi channels.
The anime is directed by Fumihiro Yoshimura at Tezuka Productions, with Mitsutaka Hirota overseeing the series scripts, and Zenjirou Ukulele designing the characters.
Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English, and here’s a bit about the story:
Takuma, a single guy, gets a robot named Mina to do house chores. When Takuma jokes about Mina becoming his wife, Mina takes it seriously, and they start doing things together. As time passes, Takuma starts falling for Mina, but can a human and a robot have an equal, loving relationship?
