KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! 3

This episode of KONOSUBA seemed a bit all over the place. There were lots of funny moments, especially with Kazuma and his gang being terrible guests, but the jokes started feeling repetitive after a while. Like, Kazuma groping someone isn’t that funny after you’ve seen it a few times.

I did like how they used visual metaphors, like cutting away from the groping scenes, but it felt like they were relying too much on those kinds of jokes. Even in the first episode, there was a bit of character growth for Kazuma, but this episode didn’t really have that.

The best parts were the moments between the characters, like when Megumin asked Kazuma on a date. It showed their bond, even if the date didn’t turn out how Megumin hoped. Also, the subplot about the stolen items has me intrigued. I wonder if it’ll lead to something bigger, like Kazuma getting a new weapon.

Overall, I hope the next episode balances the laughs with a bit more substance.
