Ema Toyama’s Vampire Dormitory Manga Ends in June

 

 

The Nakayoshi magazine will publish the last part of Ema Toyama’s Vampire Dormitory manga on June 3 in the July issue, which was announced in the June issue.

Ema Toyama started the manga in Nakayoshi magazine in November 2018. It stopped for a while after the “first part” ended in July 2022, then came back for the “second part” in December 2022. The 13th book came out on March 13.

Kodansha USA Publishing brings out the manga in English. They released the 10th book on June 20 in paper and will release the 11th one on May 21 online and on May 28 in paper. They describe the manga like this:

Mito doesn’t have a family. She lives on the streets, pretending to be a boy. Ruka is a vampire who only likes 2D girls. After Ruka saves Mito, he offers her a deal: “Be my servant and let me drink your blood whenever I want! You can live with me in the boys’ dorm!” But Mito has to keep the secret that she’s a girl to stay. Every day is risky, especially with a vampire around!

The manga became a TV show that started on TOKYO MX and BS Nippon TV on April 7 at 11:30 p.m. JST. It also airs on AT-X from April 8 and MBS from April 9. Crunchyroll shows it in many places.

Ema Toyama’s Missions of Love manga, which won awards, started in Nakayoshi magazine in 2009 and ended in June 2015. She also made a sequel manga called Watashi ni xx Shinasai! Couple-hen from March to June 2018.

Her latest manga is Majo Maid wa Joō no Himitsu o Shitteiru. (The Witch Maid Knows the Queen’s Secret) which started in Nakayoshi magazine in December 2022.

Kodansha Comics also released or is releasing Ema Toyama’s I Guess I Became the Mother of the Great Demon King’s 10 Children, Aoba-kun’s Confessions, Manga Dogs, I Am Here!, and Shugo Chara-chan! Tokyopop published her Pixie Pop: Gokkun Pucho manga before.
