The 8th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards recently concluded in Tokyo, with “Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 2 sweeping a total of 11 honors, including the prestigious Anime of the Year award.
The winners of the fan-voted awards were announced during a live ceremony on Saturday, March 2, featuring celebrity presenters and musical performances. The event was hosted by voice actor Sally Amaki and entertainer Jon Kabira, with a replay available on Crunchyroll’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
During the ceremony, three-time Grammy-winner Megan Thee Stallion presented the Anime of the Year award to “Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory/Premature Death.” The series also secured victories in categories such as Best Director (Shota Goshozono), Best Action, Best Character Design, Best Cinematography, Best Ending and Opening Sequences, Best Supporting Character (Satoru Gojo), and three Voice Actor awards.
