New teaser reveals the premiere date of the “Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc” anime series, set to air on May 12th.

 During a live-streamed special for the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc” television anime, a new promotional video and key visual were unveiled on Saturday. The video confirmed the anime’s premiere on the Fuji TV channel and its affiliates, scheduled for May 12 at 11:15 p.m. (10:15 a.m. EDT). Additionally, it showcased the opening theme song “Mugen” (Dreams) performed by MY FIRST STORY x HYDE.


The upcoming anime will also debut on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV starting May 18 at 24:00 (effectively, May 19 at midnight). Additionally, two compilation specials for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc” are scheduled to air on May 4 and 5 at 7:00 p.m.

The theatrical screening of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training-” opened in Japanese theaters on February 2, featuring the one-hour first episode of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc” television anime and the final episode of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc.” This screening then embarked on a World Tour, visiting multiple countries.

During Saturday’s streamed special, it was confirmed that cast members Natsuki Hanae and Daisuke Namikawa would attend a screening in Bangkok on March 30, followed by Hanae and producer Yūma Takahashi’s visit to Mumbai on April 20.

The “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc” anime premiered on April 9, 2023, with a one-hour special and ran for 11 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.

The initial television anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” manga debuted in April 2019. Aniplex of America acquired the series license and streamed it on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. Additionally, Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block aired the television anime in October 2019

The “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train” anime film debuted in Japan in October 2020, and Crunchyroll is currently streaming it.

Following that, the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc,” comprising seven episodes adapting the film, premiered in October 2021. Subsequently, the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc” (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku-hen) television anime started airing in December 2021 with a one-hour special. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc” and “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc” anime series
